About Coach

Growing up in Ireland, playing GAA was inevitable, with both Hurling and Football being part of my life, but my love for all sports ran deep. My true passion, however, was always running. I started with 10 km races in my teens and worked my way up to 220 km events in my forties. Along the way, I also participated in Duathlons and Adventure races, constantly seeking new challenges.

Turning Point

After an injury in 2015, I was unable to run and began going to the gym. It quickly became clear that focusing on strength and conditioning significantly improved my overall fitness and endurance. In July 2023, I tried CrossFit and immediately fell in love with it. What stood out to me was how it combines intensity, variety, and a supportive community. CrossFit provided a comprehensive workout that not only helped me set new goals and challenges but also taught me perseverance, discipline, and the mindset that I could achieve anything by pushing through tough moments.

Motivation & Passion

I have a deep passion for physical activity, and one of the most fulfilling aspects of that is helping others. I love sharing the rewards and benefits I gain from CrossFit with those around me. Coaching, to me, is about guiding others to reach their personal milestones, and the greatest reward I experience as a coach is being there when those moments happen. I truly believe that nothing is impossible if you keep showing up and putting in the work.
